Onde O Amor Está - Filme

Sinopse: Kelly Canter (Gwyneth Paltrow)era uma estrela da música country, mas o vício da bebida destruiu sua carreira. Agora que ela saiu da clínica de reabilitação, seu produtor e marido James (Tim McGraw) a quer de volta aos palcos de onde nunca deveria ter saído. Porém, esse recomeço pode ser difícil para ela e, para sair em turnê, os dois contratam jovens artistas para novos trabalhos e abertura de shows. Assim, Beau Hutton (Garret Hedlund) e Chiles Stanton (Leigthon Meester) entram para a trupe. Minha Opinião

Fazia um tempo que eu queria ver esse filme sobre a vida da cantora Kelly Canter, eu já tinha visto no prograama da Oprah, lido críticas e adoro um filme- biografia. Ontem assisti pelo Cine Sky, mas pela net você encontra fácil para assitir.

Então é um filme na categoria DRAMA, com a Gwyneth Paltrow como a Kelly, eu nunca achei a Gwyneth uma atriz que me fizesse acreditar nos personagens que ela incorporava por assim dizer e não gostava dela, achava fraquinha para o meu gosto, gosto de frisar assim porque é a minha visão, o meu gosto rs.

Mas nesse papel acho que ela conseguiu passar todo o drama da Kelly, e me fez ver nela a cantora.... achei que ela mergulhou mesmo na história, e você se apaixona por ela. Então gostei dela agora rs.

Onde O Amor Está não é um daqueles filmes que você acha que é um passatempo.

Não é.

Ele é forte, ele tem conteúdo, ele mexe com você e diante de tantas biografias tristes que sabemos dessas estrelas do mundo pop atual e até do passado já sabemos o que esperar ou o que lamentar. Digo que gostei muito, eu não faço parte de público água com açúcar eu gosto de tudo o que me emociona e me faz sentir vários sentimentos ao ver algo.

Devo admitir que a Gwyneth está linda e cantando bem,ao meu ver achei particularmente interessante a forma como são mostradas as nuances do caráter dos personagens principais. E para os mais "sentimentais" é quase impossível conter as lágrimas na cena da visita ao hospital de crianças. Trilha sonora formidável adorei e fui atrás das músicas.

De Coração para Coração - Esmalte + Craft

Eu gosto de peças crafiters, compro algumas sempre que vejo algo diferente, sofisticado e bonito pra minha casa ou útil para o dia a dia.

Ainda não fiz nenhuma peça, tenho aqui os dois projetos de oratórios que estou para realizar. Sigo muitos Blogs de arteiras interessantes que COMPARTILHAM seu conhecimento em paps ou que fazem peças bonitas e estilosas, admiro muito quem faz isso.

Recentemente eu me encontrei com a Fabi Tardochi do Blog Reciclar e Decorar em nossa cidade, ganhei um coração muito fofo dela como presente, e dentre as peças que tenho aqui eu quis usar esse coração para ilustrar a amizade. Eu e Fabi Tardochi temos uma conexão que foi instantânea, pensamos parecido e somos menininhas de colégio ainda felizes e rindo de qualquer besteira! Gosto assim!

O Esmalte escolhido foi o Melancia da Colorama.

Eu não tinha esse e passei na manicure do salão em que vou, achei bonito e de cor impactante, a cobertura me agradou, foram duas demãos, finalizadas com extra brilho. A cor é um vermelho com um toque de laranja. Este esmalte faz parte da coleção NutriVerniz, que promete unhas mais fortes, pois contém ceramidas, vitaminas E + B5.

Revisiting Michael W. Smith: An Album Review

Recently my brother Dave graciously sent me a couple of (completely legally) burnt CD's in the mail. One of them was Michael W. Smith's 2010 album "Wonder."

Me and "Smitty" go back, geez, as far as I can remember. I enjoyed his early material in the mid-80's, just after he went solo after being Amy Grant's keyboardist. There were songs like "You Need A Savior" and "The Race Is On." In the late 80's he had the hit "Secret Ambition," and there was the immensely overplayed but popular song "Friends."

And then Michael caused a stir when he attempted to "cross-over" into the non-Christian music market in the 90's, first with the song "Place In This World" and then with the entire album "Change Your World." He even received Best New Artist at the American Music Awards, which was kind of funny considering he had been around the Christian music scene for years.

His foray into the mainstream market wasn't permanent. He went on to record excellent albums such as "Live The Life" and "I'll Lead You Home." Then Michael entered the worship music market, having a lot of success with his two worship-centered albums.

I'm glad though that Michael has went on to record "regular" albums, and "Wonder"(2010) is the 53-year-old's latest (though by the album cover you'd swear he's 40). Here is my review after the first listen through.

1) The album opens with "Save Me From Myself" - Great sound to it, a rockiness to it that's good to hear. By the title I was thinking it might be a "I'm so terrible and sinful, please make me better" kind of song, but Smith doesn't seem to go there, rather he seems to be saying "I need help with my life and get caught up in the negative, so I'm relying on God to help me out."

2) The rockiness continues with 'Take My Breath Away", and it quickly becomes clear that this is no cross-over album. Smith talks about the beauty of the universe, God's creation, and invokes the Scripture which says "Who am I that you are mindful of me?" Or as I like to paraphrase "I don't deserve your love, thanks for having mercy on me," an idea I have major problems with. The song continues with Smith singing about the sacrifice of Jesus' life for humanity's sins.

3) Things slow down on "Run To You," a beautiful song about giving up control to God, or as I prefer to say "letting go and letting God." "I've tried for so long, I've tried to make it on my own, Now dreams are scattered on the ground, And now I'm down on my knees." For quite a long time now, the thought of dropping to my knees has been kind of offensive, or at least uncomfortable, as it reminded me of when I was a teenager and would almost daily fall to my knees to beg forgiveness for being a sinner. Call it a decade-long guilt trip. But now I think there is a place for it again, where we can symbolically say "Look God (Spirit/Universe/whatever you may call God), I don't know what to do with this situation, so I release it to you because I believe that you are working all things together for my good.

4) "I'll Wait For You" is one of those forgettable songs that almost every album you purchase has. 'Nuff said.

5) "Forever Yours" is a ballad presumably written for his wife (either that or he's got some 'splainin to do. Again, I tend to put this on the forgettable pile, and it doesn't compare well to earlier love songs he's written (i.e. I Will Be Here For You or In My Arms Again).

6) "Welcome Home" is a piano ballad about saying both goodbye to a loved one and then anticipating their welcome into Heaven. "I can hear the sound as angels gather 'round, saying this is where you belong." It's a simple beautiful song. What Heaven/the afterlife actually looks like is beyong me, but it's a beautiful song.

7) "Wonder (Not Far Away)" is basically a song that says that people can depend on God in any situation or any hardship, and God is, well, "not far away." Somewhere Bette Midler is singing "From A Distance" and going "WTF!"

8) "Rise" encourages people to leave their trouble behind and follow God by "walking across the sea and walking on the waves" like the disciple Peter. "Rise, he's calling you to come. Just leave it all behind and rise above." It sort of sounds like a modern-day altar call, like "Just As I Am" was for decades for Billy Graham. (As an aside, Michael sports a raspyness to his voice on this one and a couple other songs, and I can't decide if I like it or if it's annoying).

9) "You Belong To Me" is, guess what...another love song to his wife. Check out this lyric: "So walk with me awhile, And we will spend our lives, Learning the mysteries of love." For the record, I used that line on a girl back in college and got kicked in the shins.

10) With "Leave" we truly have something different. Skipping well-worn lines about life with God or how much he loves his snuggly Mrs, Michael tackles the issue of child abuse, singing from the perspective of someone with an alchoholic father who physically abuses him. There are no platitudes or easy answers here, just crying out to God asking if He's actually there. Excellent song by Michael, definitely one of the highlights of the whole album.

11) "One More Time" is a pretty-sounding song encouraging people to press on towards their goals and dreams. "This is what you're made for, standing in the downpour, knowing that the sun will shine. Forget what lies behind you, heaven walks beside you, you've got to give it one more try."

12) The album ends with "Take Me Over" and I knew that I'd have issues with the song just by reading the title. But first the good. There is a real romantic notion in this song, and in a lot of evangelicalism in general, that still holds some pull for me. There's this lyric "Just to rest in Your arms, Close enough to hear your heart," or "With just a glimpse of Your face, all my fears melt away." These lyrics could easily be written for a lover. But the song continues "Jesus, Jesus, take me over now. I surrender. Everything I have I lay it down, all of me." This line is repeated over and over and sounds quite beautiful to end off the album, though I don't connect with it at all - a decade ago I would have. Maybe I'm missing the point here, but I think lyrics like this speak to the evangelical view that "Mankind is sinful and weak and therefore we need to surrender our sinful lives and ask God to take over." The line "Jesus, Jesus take me over now" sung repeatedly may be comforting to some - I grant that. But to me it also wreaks of zombie-like spiritual possession (I know that sounds harsh, but hey, it's what comes to mind). I'm happy to have God as part of my life, but that doesn't require me to beat myself down, think of myself as hopeless and give away my power.

In conclusion, I enjoyed listening to this album, and will add a few of the songs to my playlist. Michael is still putting out quality music after all these years, and it's also good to know that he can still rock it up a little bit from time to time. I give WONDER a score of 77%.

Um Amor Para Recordar - Eu li o Livro

Sinopse: Fonte Saraiva: Cada mês de abril, quando o vento sopra do mar e se mistura com o perfume de violetas, Landon Carter recorda seu último ano na High Beaufort. Isso era 1958, e Landon já tinha namorado uma ou duas meninas. Ele sempre jurou que já tinha se apaixonado antes. Certamente a última pessoa na cidade que pensava em se apaixonar era Jamie Sullivan, a filha do pastor da Igreja Batista da cidade.

A menina quieta que carregava sempre uma Bíblia com seus materiais escolares. Jamie parecia contente em viver num mundo diferente dos outros adolescentes. Ela cuidava de seu pai viúvo, salvava os animais machucados, e auxiliava o orfanato local. Nenhum menino havia a convidado para sair. Nem Landon havia sonhado com isso. Em seguida, uma reviravolta do destino fez de Jamie sua parceira para o baile, e a vida de Landon Carter nunca mais foi a mesma.”

Minha Opinião

Terminei de ler ontem o Livro Um Amor Para Recordar. Confesso que não é muito meu estilo de leitura, apesar de que eu leio qualquer coisa que caia sobre meu poder, porém ganhei 3 livros de meu marido que são romances da lista dos mais vendidos, um deles era esse.

Enfim a idéia dele era que eu lesse algo leve, vocês podem achar nossa mas esse livro não é leve tem final triste e tals. Mas achei leve....estou acostumada a ler tramas mais complexas. Não me debulhei em lágrimas pelo contrário, achei bonita a história mas ,muito enrola - enrola até chegar ao desfecho, senti pena apenas pela personagem, mas não fiquei tão triste. Deve ser porque já li coisas mais tristes nos romances complexos que leio.

Achei a leitura fácil e fluída, não cansa, faz o tempo passar. Esse acho que era o intuito que meu marido queria, leitura leve para que eu passasse o tempo.

Eu sinceramente não assisto filmes de livros que eu gosto, porque não quero perder um pouco da magia dele, porém esse do livro eu vou assistir...porque quero sentir o que o livro não me proporciou, a emoção que acho que o filme irá me dar pelo que li nas criticas. Acho que trará um dinamismo da história maior que no livro.. a história em si é bonita, cheia de boas ações para pensarmos e passagens biblícas muito bonitas das quais a maioria das pessoas conhecem.

Posso dizer que gostei sim. Mas cada impressão que se tem de um livro é única, o mesmo que tive é diferente para você e para outros, depende da nossa perspectiva, da nossa visão de mundo e de conhecimentos acumulados sobre os assuntos discutidos no livro.

Eu não leio sites de resenhas por esse motivo, gosto de ler impressões pessoais,negativas ou positivas...na maioria as resenhas sempre são em parceria com editoras e tendem ao positivismo, gosto de ler criticas.

Afinal toda leitura acrescenta algo....esse eu li até o fim e gostei achei razoável. Vamos ver o filme que acho que vai me atingir melhor. O que achei interessante nesse livro foi que é fácil de ler e vejo muitos adolescentes e outras pessoas que não são tão leitores assim se interessando e lendo, acho que é isso que se espera de livros comerciais como os que o autor desse escreve o Nicholas Sparks, atingir maior número de leitores e proporcionar o gosto de ler....

Recomendo a leitura... é agradável, mas acho que o filme me proporcionará emoção maior! Depois venho dizer o que achei.

Estava pensando em fazer uma pátina em algumas coisas...mas enquanto não coloco a mão na massa, comecei a guardar informações, para uso posterior, no youtube achei vários vídeos interessantes mas o que eu mais gostei foi dessa professora:

Gosto muito dessa música do Kid Abelha Grand' Hotel, se nos dermos um pouco de silêncio para os barulhos internos podemos encontrar um manual escondido sobre relacionamento na letra da música:

O problema do ser humano é a pressa do fazer e acontecer, me parece que o casal viveu uma paixão intensa, atropelando tudo, depois se magoaram com ofensas, discussões e palavras mal ditas, hoje se resumem a um bom dia, e um deles se arrepende pois poderiam ter vivido um grande amor, ficou só e está procurando o segredo da felicidade e se perguntando depois de tudo se é preciso ficar só pra se viver.

Quantas vezes nos perguntamos em flash backs o que poderia ter feito ou dito em muitas situações?
Revivemos cenas, imaginamos novos desfechos, porém estamos no desfecho que a realidade nos mostra, a evolução e aprendizado está nessas buscas, nessas perguntas interiores. Se lamentar não produz apredizado, porém seguir adiante sim.

1 year to go until the Olympic Games London!

So it is official! We only have a year to go until the Olympics hit London! As you know by now I seem to get excited about anything London! I love the city so much and I am still very glad that London has a chance to host the Olympics again after all this time. One thing that has surprised me if I look back all of those years ago is the design of the stadium. I am not sure if many of you will remember the original design that was used to win the big but it was a breathtaking stadium that looked like the bud of a flower made of glass. Sadly we never got this design and to be completely honest, if I was older I would have probably realised that even when they were showcasing the designs. The stadium would have been ultra expensive and only a place like Beijing or Dubai would have truly gone for a design so extravagant. The new stadium however, white, clean, smooth and just simple yet effective! I really am growing towards the design and I cant wait for them to “wrap” the stadium to get rid of the one thing that I think makes it slightly ugly, the fact that you can see its underside! once this is gone I really do believe that the stadium will be up there with some of the best designed stadiums! yes it is not actually that hard to be up there as I swear that there are only four stadiums that really stand out in the Olympics history. People are going to judge and I think this was very apparent from the offset of the Beijing olympics. I do not think it is a competition and even though I really enjoyed the Beijing olympics, the stadium and the amount of money and effort that went into the games, I think that London will give a very different yet brilliant show. I understand that the Olympics is about sport however I am not a huge sport fan, I am interested in the architecture, benefits and ideas that come with the games so sadly that is all I can talk about (you will have to go to a sports blog if you want all this sporting crap!) It is not just the stadium that stands out in the architecture of the games.

There are three other structures that are screaming about and I shall talk about two. The third one that I will miss out (because I have already talked about it) is the London orbit click the link http://thatmfeeling.blogspot.com/2011/03/londons-orbit.html to see my take on this sculpture thing! The second of the three buildings is the aquatics centre. This building is so sexy! I mean look at it! okay, it does have wings at the moment which I think do not do the building any justice but the nice thing is that you can still see the main part of the building all shiny in between. Once the games are over those rather nasty cardboard wings will be removed and glazed over to create large windows on each side. These windows will reveal the massive sweeping roof which will really define the building and give it that ultra sexy look. Like it was in the Beijing olympics, I think the aquatics centre architecture will be focused on a large amount throughout the games.

The third and final building in my rather long talk is the velodrome (yes I did have to look that up because I completely forgot what it was called!) now this building is a cool one because it just reminds me of a pringle! what I really like about this sexy pringle is that the sides are cladded in some sort of pine wood which makes it stand out when you are on the ground! That and the fact that the roof itself could have an article dedicated to it! All in all I think the architecture is a mixed bag of sweets. Some are amazing like the buildings that I have mentioned above and some are rather gross to be completely honest with you, no names mentioned as I am sure that you can see them for yourself. I shall be counting the days down to the games, will you be!?

Wiz Khalifa has earned gold certification for his debut album Rolling Papers, released March 29, 2011. The Taylor Gang leader celebrated crossing the 500,000 units mark with a celebration at Rostrum Records and Atlantic Records.

So far, Wiz has several platinum plaques thanks to the success of the album. His smash “Black and Yellow” has been certified triple platinum for sales of over three-million units, while his follow-up “Roll Up” earned platinum status in June.

Filme Cidade dos Anjos e Um Esmalte para Combinar

Escolhi Cidade dos Anjos para participar da blogagem coletiva de filme + esmalte por ser um dos filmes que até hoje mais me encantou, por sua beleza e sentido.

Apesar de ser um filme categoria drama de 1988 eu assisto até hoje. Curiosidade: Vocês sabiam que Cidade dos Anjos é um remake de um filme alemão chamado ' ASAS DO DESEJO" de 1987?

Super indico assistir, gostei muitoo e a história é a mesma a diferença é que a mocinha não é medica é sim uma trapezista de circo eu prefiro sempre as versões originais detesto-odeio-abomino filme dublado, sim prefiro ler sim! rsss.

Vamos recordar?

Essa história linda mas com final triste na verdade nos mostra toda escolha que fazemos tem um grande peso em nossa vida e um preço a ser pago, não podemos ter tudo o que queremos. Enfim é um dos filmes que ocupa um destaque como clássico na minha coleção o qual não canso de assistir e me emocionar é fato.

Sinopse Resumida: Em Los Angeles, uma dedicada cirurgiã (Meg Ryan) fica arrasada quando perde um paciente durante uma operação, no mesmo instante em que um anjo (Nicolas Cage), que estava na sala de cirurgia, começa a se sentir atraído por ela.

Em pouco tempo ele fica apaixonado pela médica e resolve ficar visível para ela, a fim de poder encontrá-la frequentemente, o que acaba provocando entre os dois uma atração cada vez maior, apesar dela ter um sério relacionamento com um colega de profissão. O ser celestial não pode sentir calor, nem o vento no rosto, o gosto de uma fruta ou o toque da sua amada, assim ele cogita em deixar de ser um imortal para poder amar e ser amado intensamente.

The Evil & Corrupt Make Us Stronger

Not that this question has just entered my mind, I think it has been sitting in many of our minds ever since our brains started to process thoughts. I cant even begin to think about how evil some people are. It always intrigues me to how people actually get to the way they are. Are these people born evil, brought up evil and why do they do the things they do. Take the terrorist attack in Norway today. How can people be so evil to do these things? If someone blew up their families they would be so angry about it yet they feel that it is fine to destroy other peoples lives. I am glad I do not understand it because I would never want that evil frame of mind and I would never ever want to be anything like these people. I know that there can be another side to this argument and we do have soldiers in their countries but even if we did not I am sure that these people (me saying these because of the whole array of completely different people that can be placed into this category) would find some way to interfere and destroy peoples lives still. Nasty people as a whole, I just wonder what they see when they look in the mirror. Are they proud of themselves? another situation that happened recently is a friend of mine got attacked in a street whilst trying to help someone that had passed out/fainted on the floor. I know I do not know the whole situation but how low can one person be to attack someone that is firstly trying to help someone, secondly is completely helpless themselves and has no links with them at all. These people need to be analysed and then just killed to rid them from the the world that they are polluting with nastiness. This guy that beat my friend up, I would love to know what actually went through his mind “I feel like beating that helpless guy up” smack “oh I am so hard because I beat someone up that was easy to pick on and that probably couldn't defend themselves as well as I can” I mean honestly that is not anything to be proud of. These horrific people are so proud of themselves yet achieve something that is just as pathetic as they are. You are not gaining power, you are not becoming something bigger! beat up someone that is stronger than you... don't hide behind bombs and surprising innocent people, make yourself known, talk about it, negotiate it! (I am mumbling to myself!) One thing that does come out of these situations is pride for myself and the people I know around me for not being like this. You may be corrupt but at least you make people stronger and better around you. you may be proud to be who you are and do what you do but I am proud because I am not you and I would never do the things you do.

Sempre achei que "menos" é "mais" em decoração. Não gosto de ambientes poluídos de muita informação, e navegando na net estes dias eu salvei uma imagem que fiquei alguns minutos pensando...apesar de mostrar apenas uma perspectiva de uma lavanderia americana, o que me chamou a atenção foi a "limpeza''de ambiente. Lavanderia não é lugar de entulhar bagunça e roupa suja, achamos que é o espaço menos privilegiado da casa e, por consequência, acaba ficando por último na lista de prioridades.

Gostei dos quadrinhos, e acho super interessante usar papel de presente, página de revista com alguma imagem legal, uma foto legal que lembre roupas, sabão, etc como fundo em algum porta retrato perdido que podemos pintar e adaptar com um ganchinho atrás e colocar na parede.
Vou fazer isso assim que possível.
Também pensei no espaço em forma de uma prateleira bacana como a da foto. Acho que lavanderia pode ser bonita também e organizada sem virar um lugar que escondemos em casa.

A morte de cada dia!

Num artigo muito interessante, Paulo Angelim, que é arquiteto, pós-graduado em Marketing, dizia mais ou menos o seguinte: "Nós estamos acostumados a ligar a palavra morte apenas à ausência de vida e isso é um erro".

Existem outros tipos de morte e precisamos morrer todo dia. A morte nada mais é do que uma passagem, uma transformação.

Não existe planta sem a morte da semente, não existe embrião sem morte do óvulo e do esperma, não existe borboleta sem a morte da lagarta, isso é óbvio! A morte nada mais é do que o ponto de partida para o início de algo novo. "É a fronteira entre o passado e o futuro..."

Se você quer ser um bom universitário, mate dentro de você o secundarista aéreo que acha que ainda tem muito tempo pela frente. Quer ser um bom profissional? Então mate dentro de você o universitário descomprometido que acha que a vida se resume!

A estudar só o suficiente para fazer as provas. Quer ter um bom relacionamento? Então mate dentro de você o jovem inseguro, ciumento, crítico, exigente, imaturo, egoísta ou o solteiro solto que pensa poder fazer planos sozinho, sem ter que dividir espaços, projetos e tempo com mais ninguém. Quer ter boas amizades?

Então mate dentro de si a pessoa insatisfeita ou descompromissada, que só pensa em si mesmo. Mate a vontade de tentar manipular as pessoas de acordo com a sua conveniência. Respeite seus amigos, colegas de trabalho, vizinhos.

Enfim, todo processo de evolução exige que matemos o nosso "eu" passado, inferior. E, qual o risco de não agirmos assim? O risco está em tentarmos ser duas pessoas ao mesmo tempo, perdendo o nosso foco, comprometendo essa produtividade, e, por fim, prejudicando nosso sucesso. Muitas pessoas não evoluem porque ficam se agarrando ao que eram, não se projetam para o que serão ou desejam ser.

Elas querem a nova etapa, sem abrir mão da forma como pensavam ou como agiam. Acabam se transformando em projetos acabados, híbridos, adultos infantilizados". Podemos até agir, às vezes, como meninos, de tal forma que não matemos as virtudes de criança que também são necessárias a nós, adultos, como: brincadeira, sorriso fácil, vitalidade, criatividade, tolerância etc.

Mas, se quisermos ser adultos, devemos necessariamente matar atitudes infantis, para passarmos a agir como ADULTOS. Quer ser alguém (líder, profissional, pai ou mãe, cidadão ou cidadã, amigo ou amiga) melhor e mais evoluído?

Então, o que você precisa matar em si, ainda hoje, é o 'egoísmo' e o 'egocentrismo', para que nasça o SER que você tanto deseja ser!

Pense nisso e morra!

Mas, ....não esqueça de nascer melhor ainda!

Despite a report last week that said DMX's stay in prison would be extended due to various infractions, the rapper walked out of jail a free man today.

Dark Man had been locked up since December 2010 for probation violations stemming from failed drug tests.

The rapper will now look to get his life back on track. X has enjoyed success as both an actor and rapper in the past. According to reports he is looking at label offers and possible tv deals.
